March 2019 BLOG INCOME REPORT

Blogging traffic for March is sloooowwwwwllllly increasing.

The good news, I was able to publish 8 new posts! I try to post at least once a week, but was determined to create new content and pins.

Income still remains low, but I’m getting more efficient at writing and optimizing my posts. Organic traffic is also on a steady increase.

I hope my blogging income reports will encourage you to consider pursuing blogging as a side hustle. Be warned, it’s not a get rich quick scheme by any means. It takes a lot of time, work, dedication, and continued learning.

Want to make some extra money on the side? Here are 7 important steps to get your own blog started.

If you’re a blogger who has been blogging for awhile and NOT seeing results I urge you to keep on going. I wanted to give up blogging altogether a few times along the way. Actually just yesterday…

March 2019 BLOGGING STATS

Traffic: 11,849 16,928 pageviews

My bounce rate for March was 78.51%!! Last month was 83.65%.

My numbers are improving, which I attribute to the SEO course I took and just from experience. Normally it’s over 90% so this is a big deal to me.

Blogging Resources

These resources are the ones that helped me hit over 25k sessions to join Mediavine and finally start making some money blogging.

Pinteresting Strategies by Carly Campbell

Read my >>full review on Carly’s course and get a promo code here<<.

Dare to Conquer (DTC, formerly BBC)

Scrivs, the chill, super successful blogger behind DTC runs multiple blogs that make several thousand dollars a month.

His course is different than any other courses I have seen. For one price you get access to every course, Pinterest guide, SEO, affiliate marketing, video, sales funnel, community, etc.

He constantly updates the courses and just recently came out with $1,000+ a month with ads.

I’m all about free. If you’re not sure if DTC is for you, just work through Scriv’s free 12 day blogging boot camp course. Tons of great sh*t you haven’t read before.

TAILWIND

I use Tailwind to look at my stats and Tailwind tribes was what helped me get over 1,000 page views a day.

You don’t need to have Tailwind to get a ton of traffic, but the time it saves me has been used to create new content and pins so I find it to be well worth the money.

Try Tailwind for free (no payment information needed). Get 100 free pins and free access to up to 5 tribes using this link.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Like I said earlier I posted the most posts I’ve ever posted in 1 month. I’m getting better at batching my writing tasks.

My Pinterest following is growing faster by the month.

I joined a bunch more affiliate programs and am in the process of creating featured posts. Girls gotta make some money to pay the mortgage 😉

CONCLUSION

I feel there are still so many more things to work on with my blog, which will probably always be the case.

It’s been hard seeing many bloggers within my niche growing. I am very happy for them and it gives me inspiration, but again it can be a bit of a downer. Despite what I’m doing, try not to play the comparison game when blogging.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I’m working on creating more freebies for my site so that I can grow my mailing list.

Next month I plan on writing more content, but not publishing it all. This way I build up an arsenal of posts to have for weeks where I am busy or just working on other things such as monetization.

If you don’t have your own blog yet, read this post to see what you need to do to set up your blog.

If you have been blogging, keep up the great work and know it only gets easier.

    Happy for you 🙂

I also made over $200 last month ! Majority of it due to my course sales.

  2. Thanks Sam, that’s great! I really need to master affiliate sales. I’d make a terrible salesperson lol. I’ve been doing a lot of content creation and planning on growing my mailing list.

  3. Cheers to your future success ! Looking forward to hearing more of your success with blogging, affiliate marketing and email list. 🙂
